Hand knitted, Scottish alpaca Fearann scarves

The alpaca yarn for these scarves is hand spun for Juniper & Bliss in a micro-mill in Scotland. The nearby alpaca farmers bring the fleece to the mill, take back the super-soft yarn for home knitting, leaving the surplus for bespoke orders.

In its core alpaca yarn is filled with microscopic air pockets which makes these scarves very light and warm. Alpaca fibre is extremely smooth and anti-allergenic. 

For even more luxury and softness, we requested our alpaca yarn be blended with un-dyed French mohair. The result is unbelievably soft and cosy!

Hand knitted in a naturally stretchy stitch Juniper & Bliss Fearann scarves are wonderfully sumptuous, chunky and light yet cosy and warm.
